Course Description and Objectives

  • Course Description: This is a 2-hour continuing education course designed to meet the mandated CE requirements in the DMV.
  • Course Objective: This course is designed to give participants an overview of appraising real estate abroad and appraising U.S. real estate for foreign users of appraisal services. The course explores similarities and difference between international appraisal work and domestic assignments. Topics include ownership rights, data availability, measurement, currency issues, paths to developing international expertise and the importance of a solid understanding of basic valuation techniques.This course is approved for 2 hours CE Credit for the Appraisal Institute and MD. It has been submitted for 2 Hours CE Credit for DC and VA. Status will be updated on the registration page as approvals come in.
